Tarot variations in colored pencil

I’ve decided to post the three tarot drawings I’ve done so far in one post today. They’re all done in colored pencil and they’re all based on the designs of Pamela Colman-Smith for the Rider-Waite tarot deck. Working with tarot cards is a lot of fun as well as meaningful. Without further ado:

The cards in question were the queen of swords, the magician, and the five of pentacles.

As a bonus, here’s a few more colored pencil drawings I’ve done:

The first three are color samples of leaves and a mushroom and the third is a common snipe. These are pretty old, since before I learned how to properly scan and fix artwork on the computer. Later artwork posts will have more pro pictures, I promise!

I’ll keep putting out stuff like this, a few pictures here and there, and at some point I’ll make a portfolio here on the site.

Until next time, much love.
